Ehsanul Haque Samazi was appointed as PP of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court

The Solicitor Division (GP-PP Branch) of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs has issued an order in this regard on Tuesday. Rezaul Karim, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, confirmed this information to MoreNews.
According to the order, Ehsanul Haque Samazi has been temporarily appointed as Public Prosecutor (PP) of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court. And the appointment of Abdullah Abu, who has been serving in this position, was cancelled. This order will be effective immediately.
Ehsanul Haque Samazi told Prothom Alo on Wednesday that he heard about being appointed as the Chief PP of the Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court. However, he has not yet received the appointment papers.
Lawyer Ehsanul Haque Samazi served as Chief PP of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court from 2007 to 2009.
