DESCF is headed by Qayyum and Chafwanur

Full Committee of Islamic University (EB) Deep Ecology and Snake Conservation Foundation (DESCF) has been formed. Abdul Qayyum, a student of the English department, has been nominated as the president and Chafwanur Rahman, a student of the Al-Qur'an and Islamic Studies department, has been nominated as the general secretary.
On Saturday (October 26) the former president of the organization Mahfuzur Rahman and the executive member Shubo Sharma signed the circular, on the recommendation of the convening committee, the full committee has been formed. This committee will be responsible for the next one year.
The other members of the committee are - Vice-President Akhi Alamgir, Joint General Secretary Shahriar Sagar, Organizing Secretary Meghdadul Haque, Publicity Secretary Milan Bhuia, Treasurer Atiqur Rahman, Joint Treasurer Rashedul Islam, Office Secretary Sadia Mubaswira, Executive Members Faizullah Asif and Tariqul.
Newly appointed President Qayyum said, Deep Ecology has been conducting activities for our campus since 2022. We will do our best to follow the core mantra of our organization. In particular, we are hopeful that we will all be able to play an effective role together in raising awareness about snakebite and its remedies."
Note that Deep Ecology and Snake Conservation Foundation is a voluntary organization registered by the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The organization has been working on snake conservation, snakebite awareness, and climate change prevention since 2018.
