19 demands of the Chhatra Dal, including the name of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman in the diary-calendar of the university

Vice-Chancellor Dr. including the name of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman in the Islamic University (EB) diary and calendar. Nakeeb Mohammad Nasrullah has given a memorandum to the branch Chhatra Dal. They gave this memorandum to the Vice Chancellor's office on Saturday (November 16) at 2:30 pm. On this occasion, under the leadership of University Branch Student Dal convener Saheed Ahmed and member secretary Masud Rumi Mithun, joint convener Anwar Parvez, Anarul Islam, members- Sabbir Hossain, Rafiz Ahmed, Nur Uddin, Tariqul Islam Sourav and other leaders and activists were present.
Meanwhile, the convenor of the branch students' party Saheed Ahmed raised 19-point demands to the vice-chancellor. The demands are- to strengthen the overall security of the campus including the residential halls of the university and to completely ban external entry. The quality of food in the halls should be increased along with increasing the subsidy on dining. Necessary steps should be taken to reduce excess fees in all sectors of the university. Martyr President Ziaur Rahman established the university with the goals and objectives should be implemented immediately. Harassment should be eradicated by ensuring accountability in all departments of the university, including the examination controller's office. All other political parties except the banned organization Chhatra League should be brought together on one platform and ensure coexistence of all. Campus despots should be identified and immediate action taken. Students should ensure unhindered conduct of cultural activities. Appropriate steps should be taken to completely eliminate ragging in the campus. Necessary measures should be taken to eliminate session congestion. Appropriate steps should be taken to ensure a drug-free campus. CC cameras should be arranged at all important places in the campus along with adequate lighting. Appropriate steps should be taken to ensure modern treatment in the medical center. High-speed Wi-Fi should be ensured in residential halls and buildings. The department should open the central library regularly and ensure a proper study environment along with resolving the classroom crisis. Necessary measures should be taken in transport to alleviate the suffering in travel. The university diary and calendar should include the name of the founder of the university, Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, and Zia Smriti Complex should be built on the foundation stone of the university.
In view of the demands, the Vice-Chancellor said, 'These demands of yours are not political but the demands of the students' expectations. I will definitely work to fulfill all the demands you have given for the welfare of the students. Security cells have already been formed to strengthen the security in the campus and have increased the number of security cells. Shahid Ziaur Rahman established the purpose of the university, we will bring a table and take quick action. Earlier the University Syndicate was held twice a year, the Academic Council meeting was held once in two months. I plan to do it once a month. A monitoring cell will be formed to properly control the work of the Controller of Examinations office.
