human chain for trial of fake freedom fighters in Tangail and cancellation of charter

In Tangail Sadar Upazila, a human chain and protest program was held to demand the trial of fake freedom fighters and cancellation of certificates. The program was organized on the initiative of students and people from all walks of life at Gala Bazar on Friday (August 30) morning.
Tarek Hasan, chief coordinator of the program, Shamsul Haque, president of Gala Bazar Association, social worker Anisur Rahman Uttam, Mohammad Ali Jinnah and others spoke in it.
Speakers said that earlier there were 3/4 freedom fighters in Gala village. It has increased to at least 18 freedom fighters during the previous government. A humble request to the Interim Government to cancel the certificates of all fake freedom fighters and bring them under the law, drew the attention of the relevant authorities. Also, the soul of those who were martyred in the anti-discrimination student movement is sought for forgiveness and the injured are wished for recovery.
