In Mirzapur of Tangail, HSC candidate Sanjida Islam (20) has lost her eyesight due to lack of money. It is said that he was an HSC candidate this year from Shahid Bhabani Prasad Saha Government College, Mirzapur. Sanjida Islam is the daughter of Saiful Islam of Postkamuri Saudagar Para village of Mirzapur municipality.

It is reported that he has a problem with the lenses of both his eyes. He has been treated in Dhaka for a long time to improve his eyes. However, further treatment including surgery is pending. The doctor said that at least 6 lakh rupees are needed to complete the treatment. But the clever salesman father is not able to collect this money.

Sanjida's mother said that her daughter is very focused on studies. At the age of 13, the eye problem appeared while studying in class VII. Later, when he was treated at some local hospitals, it was found that he had problems with the lenses of his two eyes. The doctors asked for urgent operation on both his eyes. After that, when he was taken to Dhaka for better treatment, the doctor asked him to do 'LASIK eye surgery' to fix his eyes and mentioned that the treatment would cost more than 6 lakh rupees. Sanjida is currently using 1200 power glasses.
Her father Saiful said, the girl is currently living inside the house all day. She needs urgent treatment. Otherwise, the girl may become blind forever. There is no way I can afford expensive money with my limited income. Therefore, he and his family seek the help of the rich hearted people of the society to return the light of the talented girl's eyes.
