Human chain of Tangail Polytechnic teachers due to unpaid salary

A human chain and stay program was held demanding payment of 50 months long salary arrears and speedy transfer of 14 teachers of Tangail Polytechnic Institute to the revenue sector from the completed STEP project to the revenue sector.
This human chain and stand program was held in front of Tangail Polytechnic Institute on Sunday afternoon by organizing the teachers working in the revenue department of that college.
Tangail Polytechnic Teachers Association President Ashraful Islam, Teachers Council President Mahabul Alam, Mechanical Department Instructor Abdur Rahman, Telecommunication Department Instructor Sumon Khan, Civil Department Instructor Abdullah Mahmud, Electronics Department Junior Instructor Durga Rani, Construction Department Junior Inspector Sujan Sarkar spoke. etc.
The speakers in the human chain said that the salaries of 14 teachers have been outstanding for 50 months. Due to salary arrears and closure we are unable to hold classes. How will our family run if the salary is stopped like this? So we are drawing the attention of the chief advisor so that we can take the classes by paying our dues.
