Army medical campaign, 1200 patients received medicine and medical care

In Basail of Tangail, Bangladesh Army has provided free medical services and distributed medicines to the poor and needy people. A free medical campaign was organized under the direction of the General Officer Commanding of the 19th Infantry Division of the Bangladesh Army on Thursday (October 10) at Kashil Government Primary School of Upazila.

It is reported that the free medical campaign was conducted by 15 Field Ambulance under the supervision of 98 Composite Brigade under 19 Infantry Division and Medicine, Gynecologist and Ophthalmologist under the overall management of 24th Bengal. During this time 1 thousand 175 poor and needy people were given free medical care and medicine and 95 eye patients were given free spectacles. During the campaign, Brigadier General of Bangabandhu Cantonment. Mamunur Rashid visited. Senior officers of the army were present. The army informed that the free medical campaign will continue in the future.
Several people who came to seek medical care said, "The army's free medical campaign activities in remote areas deserve praise." Free medical care, medicine and eye patients are happy to get glasses. They demanded the army to play an active role in providing overall welfare and health care to the poor and distressed people of the region.
