Abu Taleb, Assistant Inspector General of the Prisons Department, has died

Abu Taleb, Assistant Inspector General of the Prisons Department, has died. (Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun). He was 50 years old. He breathed his last at Dhaka Medical College (DMCH) Hospital at 6:15 am on Sunday.
It is learned that he was first taken to Ibn Sina Hospital from the Prisons Department's official residence at around 4 am due to gastric problems. Later, he was taken to LabAid Hospital and from there to the emergency department of DMCH Hospital, where the doctor declared him dead after conducting an ECG.
Abu Taleb's village is in Lohagara Upazila of Narail. At the time of his death, he is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
Deputy Inspector General of Prisons (DIG Prisons) of Dhaka Division, Md. Jahangir Kabir, confirmed Abu Taleb's death to the media. He said, "We, including the Prisons Department, are saddened by his death. We pray for the forgiveness of his departed soul."
