Direct shopping opportunity coming to YouTube

One of the most popular online entertainment platforms, YouTube, has now planned to launch online shopping facilities along with video streaming. In addition to the opportunity to earn by watching or publishing videos, viewers will have the opportunity to buy products directly through YouTube in the future.
YouTube recently presented its new plan at the 'Next 20' event. It was said that if the new facilities are launched, not only will the income opportunities of the creators increase, but a completely new experience will also be created for the viewers.
In the first phase, an artificial intelligence (AI)-based automatic tagging system will be launched. The AI system will automatically identify and tag the product by analyzing the visuals, voiceovers, and information provided by the creator of the video. It will be launched for some creators in the United States within the next year.
In addition, YouTube Shorts is bringing the facility of adding links to the brand's website directly to the video. As a result, viewers will be able to click and buy products online as soon as they watch the video. After launching this feature experimentally this year, it will be made available to everyone from next year.
In the future, YouTube users will also have the opportunity to buy products directly from the creators or organizations of their choice. As a result, YouTube is gradually becoming an online marketplace, not just a video platform. Although it is not yet certain when ordinary users will get this benefit.
YouTube also said that ads from the same brand will not be shown permanently in large videos. Instead, ads will be added in such a way that ads from other brands can be easily shown in the future. This will create an opportunity to sell the same ad space multiple times. There are plans to launch this system on a trial basis next year.
According to analysts, if these new benefits are introduced, YouTube will not only become a content platform, but also have an impact on the large global online shopping market.
