RAB-14 has arrested Councilor Tanveer Hasan Ferdous Noman of Ward No. 1 of Tangail Municipality in the murder case of Maruf Mia (14), a class 10 student who was shot dead in Tangail during the anti-discrimination student movement.

He was arrested at 10 am on Sunday (September 22) from Babystand area of ​​Tangail town. Later, RAB handed over Noman to Tangail Sadar police station in the afternoon. RAB-14's squad commander (ASP) confirmed the matter. Abdul Baset.

The arrested Tanveer Hasan Ferdous Noman served as the panel mayor of Tangail Municipality. He is accused number 16 in this murder case.
