Motorcyclist killed by unidentified vehicle in Kalihati

A motorcycle-riding businessman named Sajedul Islam (45) was killed after being hit by an unknown vehicle in Kalihati, Tangail.
The accident took place at Jokarchar area of Dhaka-Bangabandhu Bridge highway around 8:30 am on Monday.
The deceased businessman Sajedul Islam is the son of Atatullah Fakir of Shahapur village of Pabna Ishwardi upazila.
Bangabandhu Setu East Police Station SI Nazmul Islam said that businessman Sajedul Islam was going to Ishwardi from Gazipur. On reaching Jokarchar area of Kalihati at around 8:30 am, the unidentified vehicle ran away. Sajedul died on the spot.
The body has been kept in the police station. The body will be handed over to the family after legal proceedings.
