Burial of freedom fighter Ibrahim Mia with state dignity

Freedom fighter Ibrahim Mia (80) was buried with state honors in Battala of Tangail Sadar Upazila. On October 7 (Monday) at 10 am in the Vivekananda High School and College grounds of the city, after the janaza, he was given a state guard of honor by the upazila administration under the assistant commissioner (land) and upazila executive officer (acting) Md. Ruhl Amin Sharif. Then he was buried in the family cemetery after Zohar prayer at Nedhar village of Basail Upazila, his home village.
It is known that he was a retired teacher of Airra Government Primary School. He had been suffering from senility for a long time. His death has cast a shadow of mourning among the district and upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad and the brave freedom fighters of all the battlefields. At this time, wreaths are placed on the body of the deceased, which is covered with the national flag.
A smart team of Tangail District Police Lines gave him a guard of honour. At this time, the bugle played a sad tune. A minute's silence is observed. Some freedom fighters of upazila freedom fighters and other people were present at the guard of honor ceremony. Ibrahim Mia died at his home on October 7 at 2 am due to old age. The late Md. Ibrahim Mia has two sons and a daughter, students and numerous benefactors. He was a frontline fighter of the Qaderiya army in 1971 in the Great War of Liberation.
