Prime Minister's financial assistance to the families of those killed in the quota movement

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave family savings certificates and cash as financial assistance to the families of 34 people killed in the violence centered on the quota reform movement. He gave this help in Ganobhaban on Sunday (July 28) morning.
In the morning, the family members of 34 people, including the family of the student Abu Saeed, who died in Rangpur, met the Prime Minister. This information has been confirmed by the Prime Minister's office.
It is to be noted that protests and clashes spread across the country on July 16, centered on the movement to reform quotas in government jobs. In this incident, attacks, vandalism and arson occurred in different parts of the country. BGB was deployed along with regular law and order forces to bring the situation under control.
Meanwhile, internet connection was off in the country from July 18 to 23. Later, internet service was not fully normalized even though it was launched on a limited scale. Mobile internet service will be launched today (Sunday) afternoon. In addition, the government issued a curfew across the country from 12:00 midnight on July 19 (Friday) to 10:00 am on Sunday (21 July). An indefinite curfew was then imposed. Although the curfew is being relaxed by a few hours every day. Curfew relaxation time is gradually increasing as the situation improves.
