Ansar members deployed in 156 Durga Puja Mandals in Kalihati

Ansar and VDP members have been deployed at the Puja Mandap in Tangail's Kalihati to safely celebrate the biggest religious festival of the Hindu community, Autumn Durga Puja.
966 Ansar and VDP members were deployed for the security of 156 puja mandaps in the upazila through a briefing held on Tuesday (October 8) afternoon at Kalihati RS Government Pilot High School ground.
In the briefing, upazila executive officer Shahadat Hussain, OC of Kalihati police station Mohammad Abul Kalam Bhuiyan and upazila Ansar and VDP officer Rasheda Parvez gave a directive speech to the Ansar members. At this time, Upazila Ansar and VDP trainer Abdul Bached and trainer Irene Akhtar and others were present.
Kalihati Upazila Ansar and VDP office sources informed that for the security of Durga Puja mandap, 7 men each, 2 women each in the most important puja mandap, 4 men each and 2 women each in the important and general puja mandap, a total of 966 Ansar-VDP members have been deployed. done
Upazila Ansar and VDP official Rasheda Parvez said that after the necessary briefing and preparation, Ansar members have been deployed to ensure the security of 156 worship halls in the upazila. He expressed the hope that it will be possible to celebrate the Autumn Durga Puja in a peaceful and joyful atmosphere with everyone's collective efforts.
