Construction of a mosque complex based on the Koran in Bashundhara

Baitul Jannat Jame Masjid Complex construction work was inaugurated at G block of Bashundhara residential area yesterday at 11 am.

In the opening ceremony, Khatib Shaikh Kasem Sharif gave a welcome speech and prayer was led by Imam Mufti Ayatul Islam of the said mosque.
It was attended by the president. Mostafa Hossain, Senior Vice President Mesbah Uddin Mamun, Vice President Mehdi Hasan Shamim, Secretary Feroze Khan, Assistant Secretary Humayun Kabir, Treasurer Habibur Rahman Badal and other committee members and devout Muslims.
President Mostafa Hossain said, "Although there is a mosque in almost every block of Bashundhara residential area, G block did not have a mosque once." We built a mosque here on three acres of land with the donation of local residents. Later the Honorable Chairman of Bashundhara Group gradually donated another 15 khata land adjacent to it. At present, the construction of seven-storey mosque complex on 18 kathas has started. We express our gratitude to the Hon'ble Chairman of Bashundhara Group. May Allah reward him best.'
Mesbah Uddin Mamun, senior vice-president of the mosque complex, said, "Since the beginning, we have tried to create a favorable environment for multi-purpose worship in this mosque. Multifaceted activities including weekly thematic narration, Tafseer of Quran every day after Fajr, free Quran education course for children and elderly, body bath, iftar in Ramadan, distribution of winter clothes, medical care for poor people are being conducted here. In the future, we want to advance the work of the mosque complex with the latest facilities.
Treasurer Habibur Rahman Badal said, 'Seven thousand people can pray together in this mosque complex built on the model of Quranic frame. Its estimated cost is around 25 crore rupees. This complex is being built with the overall cooperation of Bashundhara Group and the funding of local devotees.
Note that this mosque was started on 24th May 2019 on three khata land.
There is a 60 feet road on the east side of this mosque surrounded by roads on three sides. Currently, seven to eight thousand Muslims offer prayers here every Friday.
