Cristiano Ronaldo, LeBron James, Fernando Alonso and several other legends are still showing their dominance on the field of play even after crossing the age limit of 40. Although Kabir Suman's famous song is not applicable to everyone, for these players, age is just a number.
Recently, basketball legend LeBron James turned 40. He continues to play for the Los Angeles Lakers. In December, he became the oldest player in NBA history to score more than 40 points with 42 points. Similarly, 43-year-old Fernando Alonso is continuing his career by participating in the Formula One Grand Prix.
Meanwhile, football star Ronaldo is also over 40, but is still scoring goals. Ronaldo's diet, exercise and sleep regimen have kept him at the top of fitness for a long time.
Sports science researcher Adrienne Seydoux said of LeBron James, "His game is not only because of his talent, but also his regular lifestyle has brought him to this height."
On the other hand, for top athletes, not only age, but also their discipline and hard work play a big role. Players like Ronaldo, James or Alonso have maintained their performance consistency by being somewhat indifferent to age.
Even many other players over 40 are still giving their best on the field of play. However, behind their consistent success, it is only hard work and discipline that sets them apart from others.
