May Allah never let me stand in front of this door again: Mahmudullah's wife

When Mahmudullah Riyad was admitted to the hospital with dengue, it was as if he was facing death. Every day, new deaths are being heard in the country due to the dengue epidemic. Mahmudullah's wife, Jannatul Kawsar Mishti, shared the horrific experience on social media.
On Tuesday, Mishti posted a picture of the Cardiothoracic High Dependency Unit (CHDU) on Facebook. Tears welled up in her eyes as she recalled the difficult time of last week after posting the picture. She wrote, "May Allah never let me stand in front of this door again. It was the most difficult and terrible time of my life (October 27). Before entering this door, he told me to forgive him. Even after hearing that, I pretended that nothing had happened, and that it would not happen, Insha Allah."
While her beloved husband was in the hospital bed, Mishti was going through a difficult situation. He prayed to God all the time and held himself strong even when he was scared inside. Mishti wrote, “Now that I think about it, I wonder how I was so strong. I firmly believe that God tested me for patience. I will pass this test, God willing.”
Mishti said that although Mahmudullah is now free from fear, the trauma of that difficult moment a week ago has not yet passed. He wrote, “There are moments in a person’s life that can never be forgotten. I still remember that difficult time over and over again. Maybe it will take time to get over this trauma.”
The feelings and story of prayers expressed in Mishti’s post have moved many. He said that he will be forever grateful to God’s mercy and expressed satisfaction by saying Alhamdulillah and Masha Allah for getting through that difficult time.
