Dhaka shaken by mild earthquake!

Earthquakes were felt in various parts of the country including the capital Dhaka and Sylhet in the northeast. An earthquake was felt in various parts of the country including the capital at 10:32 am on Friday. Its magnitude was 5 on the Richter scale.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 128 kilometers away from the town of Fakh in the southeastern state of Nagaland in India.
Rubayet Kabir, officer-in-charge of the Earthquake Observation and Research Center of the Meteorological Department, said that the epicenter of the earthquake was a place in Myanmar, 482 kilometers away from Dhaka. Due to its impact, tremors were felt in the capital, Sylhet in the northeast and some surrounding areas.
