Amid the tide of anti-corruption movement in Nepal, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) MP Sanjay Raut has also warned neighboring country India. He said that the fire that has broken out in Nepal against corruption, nepotism and dictatorship can also be reflected in India. However, the reason why there is no violence in this country yet is because people believe in Mahatma Gandhi's non-violence ideology.

In an interview given to news agency ANI on Wednesday (September 10), Sanjay Raut said, "If this spark reaches India, the consequences can be terrible. India still survives only as the birthplace of Gandhi. This government survives because people still believe in Gandhi's ideology."

Addressing Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he also said, "Modiji, no matter how much you insult Gandhi, your government actually survives because of Gandhi's ideology."

Sanjay Raut claimed that Prime Minister Modi gave free ration to 80 crore people, which proves that poverty still exists in the country. The situation in Nepal was almost the same. “India’s money is being laundered abroad. Some have settled their sons in Dubai or Singapore, while others are sitting as the chairman of the cricket board,” he alleged.

At that time, the Shiv Sena leader also criticized the failure of India’s foreign policy. According to him, Nepal was once a close friend of India and considered India as an elder brother. But India did not stand by its neighbor during the crisis.

In Raut’s words, “When Nepal asked for help the most, India turned its back. The responsibility for this is our foreign policy. Today, India’s youth are seeing everything. There is unemployment in the country, there are countless problems, but the government is turning a blind eye.”
