Notice Regarding October 29 HSC Result Publication Is Fake: Board Issues Warning

Published: 09:54 23 October 2026
The Education Board has stated that the information circulating on social media regarding the publication of HSC examination results on October 29 is entirely baseless and malicious. The Inter-Education Board Examination Controller Committee has issued a formal warning, urging examinees and their guardians not to be misled by such information.
This was clarified in an urgent public notice signed by Professor Jasmine Taslima Banu, the committee’s convener and the Examination Controller of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka. The notice specifies that the document currently circulating online—which claims to provide a date and time for the publication of the 2026 HSC examination results—has no connection whatsoever to the Education Boards.
The board authorities further noted that any official decisions or directives concerning examinations and results are always published through the official websites and verified Facebook pages of the Ministry of Education, the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, and the respective Education Boards.
Given this situation, the committee has strongly urged examinees, guardians, teachers, and heads of educational institutions not to believe or share any information circulating on social media without first verifying its authenticity. Furthermore, they have issued a stern call to refrain from spreading such misleading information or rumors.
