Former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will never be able to return to Bangladesh, said Sarwar Tushar, joint convener of the Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP).
He made these comments while speaking as a special guest at the July Padyatra and Pathsabha organized by the NCP in Pirojpur city on Monday (July 20) afternoon.
Sarwar Tushar said that there is no chance for Sheikh Hasina to return to the country. He claimed that in the current situation, Sheikh Hasina's political future is over.
The NCP leader also said that the position of the people of the country is clear regarding Sheikh Hasina and no political comeback is possible for her in the future.
At this time, he criticized Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed's recent statement.
Sarwar Tushar alleged that while one position was taken regarding the referendum earlier, a different statement is being made now. He said that the people's opinion regarding the referendum should be given importance.
He also said that if the referendum decision is not implemented, there will be discontent among the people and the government will have to respond to it.
Local NCP leaders and activists were also present at this program organized in Pirojpur.
