Despite announcing that they would not officially participate in the annual election of the Lakshmipur District Bar Association (2026-27 session), 8 candidates of the Bangabandhu Awami Ajni Parishad have won various posts. On the other hand, the Nationalist Lawyers Forum (supported by BNP) has won 6 important posts including the president and general secretary in the election. However, no candidate from the Awami League panel contested the posts of president and general secretary.
