Information Office holds workshop on typhoid vaccination for journalists

A workshop on typhoid vaccination for journalists was held in Chuadanga on the occasion of the typhoid vaccination campaign. The workshop was organized by the District Information Office at 11 am on Wednesday (October 8) at the Chuadanga District Model Mosque Hallroom.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (DDLG) of the District Commissioner's Office Sharmin Akhter spoke as the chief guest in the workshop held under the chairmanship of Chuadanga District Information Officer Shilpi Mandal. Acting Civil Surgeon Dr. Aoliar Rahman discussed issues related to typhoid vaccination and ways to overcome it. Deputy Director of Family Planning Department Deepak Kumar Saha and Director of Information Department (Publicity and Coordination) Dalia Yasmin delivered the closing speech in the workshop.
Chief guest at the workshop, Sharmin Akhter said that every year 9 lakh people are infected with typhoid and 9 thousand people die. Online registration is a prerequisite for typhoid vaccination.
