Panchagarh District Police pays tribute and offers prayers at Shaheed Smriti Stambh on the occasion of Liberation Day

On the occasion of Liberation Day, Panchagarh District Police has taken the initiative of paying tribute and offering prayers at Shaheed Smriti Stambh. On Saturday, November 29, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) and Acting Superintendent of Police Md. Farhad Hossain paid tribute at the Shaheed Smriti Stambh located in front of the office of the Superintendent of Police, and prayers were conducted for the forgiveness of the souls of the martyrs.
After the tribute, a colorful rally was held at the Shaheed Smriti Stambh in the Zilla Parishad premises to lay wreaths and offer prayers for the second time. After that, a discussion meeting was held at the Panchagarh Central Shaheed Minar on the occasion of Liberation Day by the Panchagarh District Administration.
Panchagarh district was liberated from the clutches of the Pakistani occupying forces on November 29, 1971. Like every year, this day, which commemorates the great Liberation War, was observed by Panchagarh District Police with respect and dignity.
Panchagarh Deputy Commissioner Kazi Md. Sayemuzzaman, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Md. Farhad Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Md. Shaimi Imtiaz, along with senior police officers, freedom fighters, journalists, teachers and students of various educational institutions were present at the event.
