Sechsevak League convener arrested in Rajivpur of Kurigram

Upazila Sechsevak League convenor Hamidur Rahman has been arrested by the police in the case of extortion and theft of fish from a pond in Rajibpur of Kurigram.
Rajibpur Thana police arrested him from Rajibpur market around 10:30 pm on Sunday.
He is the son of deceased Bahar Uddin of Dhulauri village of Rajibpur upazila. He has previously served as General Secretary of Upazila Chhatra League, Organizing Secretary of Jubo League and currently convener of Upazila Sechsevak League.
Rajibpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Anwar Hossain said that he was arrested in the case of extortion and theft of fish from the pond. He was sent to jail on Monday morning by the court.
