A child student was raped with her hands and feet tied in Tentulia! Accused in the case arrested

A 12-year-old schoolgirl became pregnant after being raped and tied in Tentulia, Panchagarh. The victim's father filed a rape case against accused Abdus Sobhan (57) at Tentulia Model Police Station to get justice in this incident, and the police arrested him on Saturday night, November 9. Abdus Sobhan is the son of the deceased Maqbul Hossain of Rawshanpur area.

The girl who was raped is an eighth-grade student of Shalbahan Girls Secondary School. The locals have been demanding punishment for the rapist in the rape of the girl. On Saturday night, the locals protested demanding the arrest, punishment and trial of accused Sobhan.

Locals say that 57-year-old Abdus found the girl alone at home, tied her hands, feet and face, and raped her forcibly. After the rape, he threatened to kill her if she told anyone about the incident. The girl was scared and did not tell anyone. But due to the rape, she became a pregnant woman. Now she is a seven-month pregnant woman. How can a grandfather do such a senseless anti-social act? The accused Subhan is a characterless person. He has done many bad things before and has been fined. He is targeting teenage girls and raping them. The locals are very angry with him for this. We demand exemplary punishment for him.

The victim girl said, accused Sobhan is my grandfather. He used to come to the house often. On Friday, April 4, I was alone at home. My parents had gone to pick chili. I was sleeping in the house. Suddenly, before I realized it, the man tied my hands and feet and forcibly raped me. He threatened me in various ways so that I would not tell anyone about the incident. He threatened to kill me if I told him. That is why I did not tell anyone. In the meantime, I have a child in my pride. Seven-month pregnant woman. I want strict justice for this.

The victim girl's father said in a tearful voice, "I am a stone worker. I earn my living by picking up stones. I did not know about the incident. It was never reported. I am very worried about whether my daughter will get justice after learning about it last Thursday. What will I do now, the girl has just started studying in class A. In the meantime, Sobhan, who is my grandfather's age, forcibly raped the girl. I want justice for this. I want appropriate justice for the harm he has done to my daughter. I am seeking exemplary punishment through the hanging of the rapist Sobhan or through proper trial under the law.

Tirnoihat UP Chairman Alamgir Hossain said, "I have heard about the incident. A case has been filed against him at the police station. He has been arrested. I am seeking strict punishment for the accused rapist on behalf of the local people so that people can come out of this kind of social degradation in the future."
