A child died in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and an autorickshaw in Tentulia, Panchagarh district.

The accident occurred at around 3 pm on Thursday (December 4) in Lohakachi village of Shalbahan union of the upazila. The deceased child is the son of Hussain Ali of that area.
Family and locals said that child Hafizul was standing on the road near his house. At that time, a motorcycle and an autorickshaw collided. As a result, the autorickshaw fell on Hafizul and he was seriously injured.
Later, locals rescued him and quickly took him to the emergency department of Tentulia Hospital, where the doctor in charge of Tetulia Hospital declared the child dead. The family's cries at Tetulia Hospital became heavy with grief on hearing the news of the death. And a shadow of grief fell.
On Thursday afternoon, Tentulia Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Musa Mia confirmed the incident. He said, "The body will be handed over to the family after the legal process is completed. Further legal action will be taken if a complaint is received."
