Cadet College Admissions Start, Applications Start Today

Applications for the 2026 admission test have started in 12 cadet colleges in the country. Distribution of application forms has started today, November 1 and will continue till December 10, 5 pm. This year's admission test will be held in light of the National Curriculum and Textbook Board's sixth grade syllabus.
Currently, there are a total of 12 cadet colleges in Bangladesh, of which 9 are for boys and 3 are for girls. All admission tests will be conducted in seventh grade. The admission process will be completed through written, oral and health tests.
Applicant Qualifications:
Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of Bangladesh.
Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed the sixth grade or equivalent examination.
Age: Maximum age 13 years and 6 months as on January 1, 2026.
Physical Qualifications: Minimum height 4 feet 8 inches, and the candidate must be physically and mentally healthy.

Required Documents:
Authenticated certificate of the fifth grade annual examination (not mandatory for English medium students).
Birth registration or attested photocopy of birth certificate.
Attested certificate of the headmaster of the school studied.
Income certificate of parents.
Attested photocopy of parents' national identity cards.
Key Dates:
Distribution of Application Form: 1 November 2025 to 10 December 2025.
Collection of Admit Card: From 11 December 2025 to the day before the examination.
Written Examination: 27 December 2025, from 10 am to 1 pm.

Total marks 300, where:
English: 100
Mathematics: 100
Bengali: 60
General Knowledge: 40
Syllabus:
The entrance test will be completely based on the National Curriculum and Textbook Board's sixth grade syllabus.
Cadet colleges are run under the supervision of the Bangladesh Army under the Ministry of Defense and develop students into good citizens and smart personalities through co-curricular and extracurricular activities along with education.
