Khandkar Mushtaq Ahmed and Cynthia Islam Tisha are much discussed and criticized on social media due to their marriage at an unequal age. Tisha has passed this year's HSC examination with GPA-5.

The results were declared around 11 am on Tuesday (October 15). Mushtaq then congratulated Tisha in a video posted on Tisha's Facebook ID.

Mushtaq said in the video, "Congratulations to my Hurram (as he affectionately calls Tisha). As you all know HSC results today and after many ups and downs in our life Tisha has always been a good student and has achieved enviable results. So congratulations to him from the bottom of my heart.

Meanwhile, at the end of the video, Tisha said, I didn't believe it at first after seeing the result message. The last two months before the exam I worked very hard. This is nothing new though; I thought, yes, that's what I get. Thank you all for praying for me.

Mushtaq was a donor member of the governing body of Motijheel Ideal School and College in the capital. At that time, Tisha was admitted to the eleventh class of the college. Sixty-four year old Mushtaq falls in love with Tisha.

At some point they developed a love affair and got married. Tisha's family could not accept this. Tisha's father Saiful filed a case alleging harassment and abduction of his daughter.

When the news of their marriage spread on social media, there was a storm of criticism. Mushtaq's book about Tisha was also published in the last book fair.
