Narail calls for compliance with laws in homeopathic treatment

A special seminar has been held to make homeopathic doctors working in Narail aware of their legal obligations and professional responsibilities. This awareness seminar titled “Legal obligations and responsibilities of homeopathic doctors” was held at the conference room of the Narail Civil Surgeon’s Office on Wednesday at 11 am. Doctors from different upazilas of the district participated in the seminar organized by the Department of Narcotics Control, Narail District Office.
Additional Director of the Department of Narcotics Control Khulna Divisional Office Md. Ahsanur Rahman spoke as the chief guest at the seminar. He said that although homeopathic treatment is a recognized alternative treatment method, it is very important to comply with the laws and regulations related to it. He urged everyone to be vigilant so that no irregularities or illegal activities take place in the name of treatment.
Narail Civil Surgeon Dr. Md. The seminar, chaired by Abdur Rashid, was presented by Golok Majumdar, Deputy Director of the Narcotics Control Department, Narail District Office. He discussed in detail the laws, ethics and professional responsibilities applicable to homeopathic treatment and highlighted the importance of the conscious role of doctors.
Also present at the seminar were Civil Surgeon's Office physician Dr. Ismail Hossain Bappi, President of Narail Homeopathic Professional Doctors Council Dr. Sultan Mahmud, Assistant Professor Dr. Mofizur Rahman, Dr. Dulal Raha, President of Lohagara Upazila Homeopathic Doctors Association Dr. Md. Hayatdur Rahman Ujjal, General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Rajibul Alam and Vice President Dr. Tachibul Alam and other leaders.
The speakers said that medical activities should be conducted by adhering to the basic principles of homeopathic treatment. At the same time, everyone should be vigilant so that no one misuses rectified spirit in the name of homeopathic treatment. They opined that the general public's trust in this alternative medical method will increase further by fulfilling professional responsibilities in accordance with the law.
About 50 homeopathic doctors working in Narail district participated in the seminar. The participants described such awareness-raising events as timely and effective and demanded that such initiatives be continued in the future.
