The Israeli military continues its deadly attacks on Lebanon. More than half a hundred people have been killed in this Middle Eastern country in the latest attack.
More than 250 Lobnese were injured. Anadolu news agency reported this information in a report on Saturday (November 16).
According to the report, at least 59 people were killed and 182 injured in Israeli attacks in Lebanon in the last day. The total death toll since October 2023 has risen to 3,445, and the total number of injured has risen to 14,599, Lebanon's health ministry said on Friday.
Israel has been in conflict with the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah since the beginning of the Israeli invasion of the besieged Gaza territory of Palestine in October last year. However, Israel's full-scale war with Hezbollah began last September.
In addition, since September 23, Israel has been carrying out massive airstrikes in Lebanon as well as in the capital Beirut. The Israeli military claims that the strikes are targeting operatives, infrastructure and arsenals of the armed group Hezbollah.
Hezbollah is also striking back. In addition to killing Israeli soldiers operating in Lebanon, this powerful armed group is attacking military bases deep in Israel with sophisticated missiles.
More than 1 million people have been forced to flee their homes due to Israeli attacks in Lebanon. In such a situation, Iran has warned that the war may spread far beyond the Middle East.
