Who is Burnham in the running for the new UK Prime Minister

After UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced his resignation, a new discussion has started in the country's politics. Now everyone's attention is on the next leadership of the Labour Party. Because if the new leader of the party is elected, he is more likely to become the next Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
Currently, Andy Burnham is the most discussed as a possible successor. He is known as an influential leader of the Labour Party. According to international media reports, Wes Streeting himself withdrew from the leadership race and supported Burnham. This has strengthened Burnham's position.
Starmer said that the party process for electing a new leader will start soon. The nomination process is scheduled to begin on July 9. If more than one candidate is in the running, the leader will be elected through a ballot. And if there is no major competition, Burnham's path may be easier.
Starmer will serve as an interim leader until a new leader is elected. However, considering the current political situation, many observers believe that Andy Burnham is the frontrunner to become the next Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
