A terrible fire has broken out in a leather godown in Hazaribagh in the capital. 7 units of the Fire Service are working to control the fire. Members of the Bangladesh Army and BGB are also assisting in controlling the fire.

The incident took place at around 2:14 pm on Friday. Initially, two units of the Fire Service started working to control the fire, but realizing the seriousness of the situation, 5 more units were quickly deployed.

Duty Officer of the Fire Service Headquarters Lima Khanam told the media, "A fire broke out in a leather godown in the Hazaribagh Kacha Bazar area in the afternoon. As the fire spread quickly, it is taking a lot of time to control it. Currently, 7 units are working."

Confirmed information about the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage has not yet been received. Rescue operations are underway at the scene.
