Regarding the death of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia's younger son, late Arafat Rahman Koko, his personal physician and BNP standing committee member Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain said that Koko's death was not natural. He said that the mystery of this death will be revealed and BNP is working to bring those involved to justice.

He made these remarks as the chief guest at a prayer meeting organized by the Arafat Rahman Koko Memorial Trust at a restaurant in East London on Sunday.

Dr. Zahid mentioned Koko's contribution to the sports field and said that Bangladesh cricket has gained recognition all over the world today due to his organizational skills. He also said that Koko was physically and mentally tortured, which could be one of the reasons for his death.

He highlighted Ziaur Rahman's role in the Liberation War and his sacrifice for the country and said that the history of BNP is a source of pride and that it will take the country forward.

At the event, UK BNP President MA Malek said that Begum Khaleda Zia went to jail in a healthy state, but she was gradually physically damaged. He demanded justice for those responsible for this.
