After Shibli Rubaiyat ul Islam, the chairman of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), the capital market regulatory body, two commissioners of the organization have resigned. They are Commissioner Sheikh Shamsuddin Ahmed and Rumana Islam.

On Monday (August 12), the concerned official of the Financial Institutions Department of the Ministry of Finance confirmed this information to Dhaka Post.
According to BSEC sources, these two commissioners were asked to resign by the Financial Institutions Department on Sunday. Later that afternoon they submitted their resignations. Earlier, BSEC Chairman Shibli Rubaiyat Ul Islam resigned on Saturday. As a result, three of the five-member BSEC commission resigned. Commissioner Mu is still in charge.
