Another child freedom fighter in nine years in Amtali!

Allegations of being a freedom fighter were found against Syed Md. Masum in nine years and 1 month and 12 days. Its Gazette No. 423. It is alleged that he has given a job in a government primary school to his daughter Israt Maury of freedom fighter Kota by posing as a fake freedom fighter through forgery. He embezzled millions of rupees from the government treasury in the last 11 years. Brave freedom fighter ATM Rafiqul Islam has complained. He demanded necessary action against him subject to investigation.
Syed Md. Masum claimed to be a real freedom fighter and said, I failed the SSC exam from Amtali MU Secondary School in 1974. After six years I did not study. In 1980, I participated in the SSC examination from Chila Hashem Biswas Secondary School and passed. I have two birth dates. According to SSC certificate my date of birth is 1962 but my actual date of birth is 1956. However, he could not answer the question why Apni was included in the list of freedom fighters in 2013 without being included in the list of freedom fighters. According to your SSC passing certificate, you retired after working in a government primary school, and according to your date of birth in 1956, you are a freedom fighter. In response to another question, which of your dates is correct, he said, "Both my dates of birth are correct." He did not answer the question that a person can have two dates of birth.
It has been reported that Syed Masum is the son of Syed Lutfar Rahman of food warehouse area of Amtali town. He passed SSC examination in 1980 from Chila Hashem Biswas Secondary School. He was born on 15 February 1962 as per SSC pass certificate. He was nine years 1 month 12 days old at the time of the War of Independence. He was a primary school student then. Hero freedom fighter ATM Rafiqul Islam complained that Syed Lutfar Rahman's father Syed Lutfar Rahman's village house is in Talma village of Nagarkanda upazila of Faridpur district. He was a well-known Rajakar of that area. After the independence of the country, he fled fearing for his life and came to Amtali. Later he lived in the food warehouse area of Amtali Municipality and started a grocery business. His son Syed Masum appeared in the SSC examination from Chila Hashem Biswas Secondary School in 1980 and passed the third division. Later, Sabuj Bagh Muktijoddha Private Primary School took a job as an assistant teacher. He became a freedom fighter in 2013. It is alleged that he (Masoom) forged the freedom fighter certificate given by Captain Mehdi Ali Imam and became a freedom fighter himself and sold the freedom fighter certificate to many people for 5 thousand taka. He was gazetted in the list of freedom fighters by forgery. Its Gazette No-423. According to the Gazette, he received freedom fighter allowance in July 2013. In the last 11 years, he has illegally embezzled millions of rupees from the government treasury. Brave freedom fighter ATM Rafiqul Islam also alleged that Masum has become a fake freedom fighter by concealing his SSC pass certificate. With that fake freedom fighter certificate, his daughter Israt Maury Mukti Jodha got a job in government primary school in Kota. Maury Amtali is working as Assistant Teacher in Sabujbagh Government Primary School.
According to the investigation, Syed Md. Masum passed the third category of SSC examination from Chila Hashem Biswas Secondary School of Amtali Upazila in 1980. His SSC examination pass roll no-395, registration no-18812 and academic year 1977-78. His date of birth-1962-02-015. Retired from Sabuj Bagh Government Primary School in 2019. He sold his land in Amtali two years ago and moved to Talma village in Syedpur upazila of Faridpur district. He lives there.
Locals complained that Syed Lutfar Rahman came to Amtali town after the independence of the country. Later he settled in the food warehouse area of the city and started grocery business. At that time his son Syed Masum was studying in primary school. He was a child during the liberation war. After completing his education, he took a job in Sabujbagh Private Primary School. In 2013, I came to know that he became a freedom fighter. With his Muktijodha Sanad, he gave his daughter Maury a job in Muktijodha Kota Government Primary School.
Chila Hashem Biswas Secondary School Headmaster Md. Moazzem Hossain said that Syed Md. Masum, son of Syed Lutfar Rahman, participated in the SSC examination from this school in 1980 and passed the third division. His date of birth is 15 February 1962.
Amtali Upazila Executive Officer Muhammad Ashraful Alam said, I have come to know about the matter. Action will be taken subject to investigation.
