Independent candidate Hasan Mamun adamant on decision, Nurul Haque Nur in trouble

Despite allegations of various pressures, propaganda and conspiracies in the upcoming 13th National Parliament election for Patuakhali-3 (Golachipa-Dashmina) constituency, independent candidate Hasan Mamun is not backing down in any way. He said that he will remain in the election field as the people's candidate despite all obstacles and will play a role in protecting the people's voting rights.
While addressing public relations and street meetings in different areas of Galachipa upazila on Wednesday (January 14) night, he said that a group is trying to create confusion and fear in a planned manner. However, he also claimed that these conspiracies have failed because the people of Galachipa and Dashmina are politically aware.
Hasan Mamun said that this election is not for any individual or party, it is an election to establish people's rights. If the people are on his side, he will go to parliament and strongly raise the problems and demands of the area. He urged the leaders, activists and supporters to remain united against intimidation and propaganda.
According to local sources, the public gathering for Hasan Mamun's campaign as an independent candidate is increasing day by day, which has created a new political equation in the electoral field. It is worth noting that although this seat was given to the President of the People's Rights Council, Nurul Haque Nur, in the alliance decision, he is not getting the expected BNP support in the area. On the contrary, a large section of the local BNP has openly come out in favor of the independent candidate Hasan Mamun, as a result of which Nurul Haque Nur has come under pressure.
