Dhakai film actress Mishti Jannat is once again in the news. However, she is not in the news for her movies, but for her personal life and controversial comments. Recently, the actress came to attention by posting and commenting one after another about megastar Shakib Khan and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. These posts contained suggestive statements, which have created various discussions. These issues have taken place not only in Bangladesh but also in the Indian media.
A few days ago, in response to a question from journalists, Mishti Jannat said, “I don’t want to talk about Shakib Khan. Ask him about our matter.” According to the Indian media, she had told a Bangladeshi media outlet that there is talk of working with Bollywood star Salman Khan. Based on these comments and propaganda, many people think that she might want to be in the news.
In such a situation, another rumor spread – Mishti Jannat was caught sitting in a car in Dubai. There has been a lot of discussion on social media and YouTube channels about the matter. Although no reliable evidence has been found for this news, the matter has clearly hurt the heroine.
In a video that went viral recently, an angry Mishti Jannat is seen telling journalists, “Where you are selling and eating heroes and heroines, why are you destroying our honor and dignity? You have also made false news about Shakib Khan. And now ‘I was caught sitting in a car’—what kind of news is this? Dubai is a place where there is nothing to be caught.”
She also said, “I have never been associated with any political party. I have not gone anywhere for money. I went to a program, where ‘I was caught in a car’—what kind of topic can this be? I request that action be taken against those who are spreading falsehoods on YouTube or in the media. Otherwise, I myself will take legal action in public.”
Various reactions are being seen on social media regarding these comments of Mishti Jannat. Some are saying that this is a protest in self-defense; Some people think that this is a publicity stunt. However, it is certain that he is more in the news for his personal life and outspoken statements than he is on the Dhaka cinema screen.
