Bollywood actress and dancer Nora Fatehi has landed in legal trouble after she called a chartered plane a 'toy' and a 'Lego plane' on social media. Dunes Aviation, a flight service company, has filed a civil defamation case of Rs 3 crore against her.

The case has been filed in a court in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The case is scheduled to be heard in the court of Senior Civil Judge R Agarwal on September 25.

What is the case against Nora?

According to the case sources, Nora Fatehi traveled in a Cessna Citation CJ-2 aircraft of Dunes Aviation while traveling from Mumbai to Jaipur in December 2025. At that time, she recorded several videos inside the plane and posted them on her Instagram account.

The company alleged that she described the plane as a 'miniature', 'toy' and 'Lego airplane' in the videos. The lawsuit claims that Nora's comments were widely circulated as she has over 46 million Instagram followers.

Allegation of business loss

Dunes Aviation claims that Nora's comments have damaged the company's reputation and negatively impacted its business operations. The company alleges that after the comments, their bookings have decreased by 15 to 20 percent and the number of cancellations has also increased.

The airline also claimed that Nora's statement was irresponsible and was not based on any technical knowledge, verification or factual information. For this reason, it has demanded Rs 3 crore as compensation.

Demand for removal of social media posts

Not only compensation, Dunes Aviation has also sought an order to remove the relevant posts and comments from Nora's social media. It has also demanded a public explanation from Nora on the matter.

On the other hand, the case is still pending. As a result, it cannot be said that the allegations made by the airline have been proven in court.
