US warships in the Taiwan Strait!

A new chapter of tension in the Taiwan Strait! China reacted strongly to the news of the entry of US warships. Washington claims that this is part of a regular military exercise, but Beijing considers it a provocative move.
Two warships of the US Seventh Fleet entered the Taiwan Strait on Tuesday. The Pentagon has said that this is a routine operation, which is carried out to ensure the right to freedom of navigation in international waters.
This is the first time that a US warship has entered the Taiwan Strait under the leadership of President Donald Trump. Earlier, such tension arose after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan in 2022.
China has already warned about this incident. The country's Ministry of Defense says that the presence of US warships threatens the stability of the region. They claim that Chinese warplanes and warships have been patrolling around Taiwan since Tuesday.
According to analysts, the victory of the anti-China Democratic Progressive Party in Taiwan's recent elections has also added a new dimension to this tension.
Now the question is - will this situation lead to a new Sino-US conflict? Or will diplomatic efforts find a solution? For now, attention will be paid to the next steps of Washington and Beijing.
