War is heating up in the Middle East. US President Donald Trump has repeatedly warned that a large-scale military attack on Iran may be launched. Israel also wants Trump to change the Iranian regime. On the other hand, the Iranian government has said that they are fully prepared to defend the country, and that they will consider any attack as a full-scale war.

According to multiple sources in the US media Drop Sight News, senior US military officials have told several Middle Eastern allies that Trump may authorize a military attack against Iran this weekend. The allies have been informed that the possible attack could begin as early as Sunday (February 1).

A former top US intelligence official said that the goal of this possible attack is not only the nuclear or missile program, but also to bring about a change in the top leadership of the Iranian government. This official is currently an advisor to Arab countries and an informal advisor to the Trump administration on Middle East affairs.

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the attack plan includes destroying Iran's nuclear facilities, ballistic missiles and the leadership and capabilities of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The Trump administration believes that a successful attack on the top leadership will spark popular protests and could lead to the overthrow of the government.

The report also said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has expressed hope for an attack on Iran and assured Trump that they would cooperate in forming a new government. Two senior Arab intelligence officials told Drop Sight News that they had received information that a US attack on Iran could begin "at any moment."
