Drinking his own urine in the morning is good for the body. Morarji Desai made this claim while he was the Prime Minister of India in the late seventies. He told the international media that he regularly drinks 5-8 ounces of urine. There was a lot of discussion and criticism about it all over the world.
He was the Prime Minister in the Janata Party government from 1977 to 1979. Now, the discussion about drinking his own urine has started again among netizens with the words of Paresh Rawal, a former MP from the radical Hindutva party Bharatiya Janata Party and actor.
According to a report in The Economic Times, actor Paresh Rawal used to drink his own urine on an empty stomach for 15 consecutive days after waking up in the morning. Ajay Devgn's father Veeru Devgn gave him this advice to drink his first urine of the day. Paresh too, like an obedient son, followed his advice.
According to Paresh, 'Veeru came and told me that all fighters do this. If you do this, there will be no pain. He said that you have to stop drinking alcohol, tobacco and mutton. That place you have to drink your first urine in the morning.'
This is one of the most memorable events in his life. The actor said, 'I used to drink beer every morning. I used to eat it strictly. When the X-ray report came after 15 days, the doctors were surprised.'
Paresh claims that the wound that took about two and a half months to heal due to continuous drinking of urine, he recovered in just one month. Paresh injured his knee during the shooting of the film 'Ghatak'.
The injury was so serious that he had to be taken to the hospital immediately. Paresh thought that his career was over. But then Veeru Devgan appeared with this innovative idea. He advised Paresh to drink his own urine to recover quickly.
