Tuku, Palak and DU Chhatra League general secretary Saikat arrested

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested former State Minister for Information Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak, former Deputy Speaker of Jatiya Sangsad Shamsul Haque Tuku and General Secretary of Dhaka University (DU) Chhatra League Tanvir Hasan Saikat in connection with the case filed at Paltan Police Station.
They were arrested from Nikunj area of their capital on Wednesday (August 14) night.
This information was informed by the media and public relations department of DMP at night.
According to DMP, former IT State Minister Junaid Ahmed Palak, Deputy Speaker of 12th Jatiya Sangsad Shamsul Haque Tuku and General Secretary of DU Chhatra League Tanveer Hasan Saikat were arrested while hiding from Nikunj residential area under DMP's Khilkhet police station.
Incidentally, Palak was arrested at Shahjalal International Airport while fleeing the country on August 6. At that time he was taken into custody by law and order forces.
