Fascist Sheikh Hasina and her henchmen should be brought to justice: Barrister Najeeb Momen

Barrister Najibur Rahman Momen visited his father's grave after returning home after 8 years. Later, he gave a speech at the prayer ceremony. Manmothpur village of Santhia upazila of Pabna on Saturday afternoon.
Jamiat-e-Islami does not believe in politics of revenge, it believes in justice. Barrister Najibur Rahman Momen, son of late Maulana Matiur Rahman Nizami, the former emir of Jamaat-e-Islami, commented that the fascist killer Hasina and her accomplices should be brought to justice.

Maulana Matiur Rahman said these things at the doa mahfil ceremony organized to pray for the soul of Nizami at Manmothpur village of Santhia upazila in Pabna on Saturday (September 14).
He said, "When Sheikh Hasina said that the children of war criminals are conspiring. Then Armaan disappeared. I left the country in May 2016 on the advice of the Ameer of the Jamaat due to the fear of going missing. When my father was hanged, I was not allowed to attend his funeral. After more than 8 years, I returned to my country and visited my father's grave.

Najib Momen said, "All those involved in the so-called trial, including my father, who were killed on false charges of crimes against humanity, must be prosecuted." Who was involved, how the investigation was conducted, how the witnesses were handled. These need to be properly investigated. And this trial is the responsibility of the government.

In response to a question, he said, 'I do not believe in titles. I am an eater. However, if the local people and the party want, I am ready to contest in Pabna-1 (Santhia-Bera) seat in the upcoming national elections.
Barrister Najibur Rahman Momen arrived at Dhaka airport on Friday (September 13) after 8 long years. Jamaat-e-Islami leaders congratulated him there.

Then he came to Sirajganj's Baghabari intersection from Dhaka at around 11 am on Saturday. He was welcomed there with a huge fleet of thousands of leaders and activists. From there, at around 12 o'clock, the Path Sabha ended at the C&B goal area of Barar and visited the father's grave at Santhia's family graveyard. Later, a prayer ceremony was held.
