The Awami League is desperate to bring Sheikh Hasina back to power by thwarting the 13th National Parliament elections. This time, this grand plan has started not only with domestic plans, but also with direct Indian support. Delhi's policymakers and India's so-called 'deep state' are openly interfering in Bangladesh's internal politics. Anti-Bangladesh propaganda is being intensified in the international arena to rehabilitate the Awami League.

Last Saturday, the Indian think tank Global Strategic and Defense News organized a seminar in Delhi. Diplomatic sources said that the aim of this seminar was to tarnish Bangladesh's image, put pressure on the interim government and create an environment to make the Awami League acceptable again in the international arena. This time, India is not limited to just statements or indirect support - it is directly using some controversial figures in Bangladesh.

In addition to Indian military officers, administrative bureaucrats and representatives of the think tank, four Bangladeshis participated in the seminar: journalist Syed Badrul Hasan, academician Dr. Abul Hasnat Milton, former ambassador Mohammad How Al Rashid and barrister Tania Amir. Diplomatic circles believe that India's deep state is now trying to use Bangladesh's internal resources to make its international propaganda stronger and more credible.

The seminar's concept note claims that while India-Bangladesh relations have been deep in economic, social, cultural and military fields since 1971, the current situation has put the two countries' relations at a "special juncture". More surprisingly, the Chief of Defence Staff of the Indian Armed Forces has claimed that a possible war between India and Pakistan in the future could start from Bangladesh. Diplomatic circles see this statement as an ominous sign - Indian officials are openly sending a message of intervention by threatening to turn Bangladesh into a war zone.

Political scientist Dr. Dila Chowdhury expressed her anger and said, "India is putting pressure on Bangladesh by spreading false propaganda in the name of the seminar. Its purpose is one thing - to bring back the Awami League at any cost."
