Chhatra Dal leader lost his post for asking for donations in Lakshipur

A Chhatra Dal leader named Adnan Habib has been dismissed from the party post in Laxmipur's Raipur for demanding donations from expatriate's wife. He was the president of North Charbanshi Union Chhatra Dal of the upazila.
Upazila Chhatra Dal convener Mahfuzur Rahman Hridoy confirmed the matter on Friday, August 16 evening.
According to party sources, Habib demanded contribution from Rehana Begum, wife of Zakir Hossain Honar, a resident of Ward No. 8 of North Charvanshi Union.
On the basis of this complaint, a show cause notice was given to him on the instructions of Mahfuzur Rahman Hriday and member secretary Abdullah Al Rahman Rifat of Upazila Chhatra Dal. On August 14, Habib was asked to respond within three working days in a notice signed by Shanto Islam, the in-charge leader of the Upazila Chhatra Dal office. But he didn't. In this, he was exempted from the party post
