‘I have moved to Bangladesh’ Afridi!

Chittagong Kings have surprised everyone in this season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The team has appointed Shahid Afridi as their brand ambassador.
The curtain of the BPL is rising tomorrow, Monday. On this occasion, Afridi will set foot in Dhaka today, Sunday. The Kings franchise confirmed this on their official Facebook page. In a video message in Bengali, Afridi said, ‘I have moved to Bangladesh’.
Afridi played for Dhaka Gladiators in the first season of the BPL. After that, he played for Sylhet Super Stars, Rangpur Riders, Dhaka Dynamites, Comilla Victorians and Dhaka Platoon. In total, this former Pakistani all-rounder scored 539 runs in 35 innings of 45 matches while batting. In addition, Afridi has taken 57 wickets with the ball.
Afridi has previously won titles in Bangladesh's most popular franchise tournament for Comilla, Dhaka Gladiators and Dhaka Dynamites. He last played in the BPL in the 2019-20 season.
And this is the first time that the former Pakistan captain will be seen as a brand ambassador in the BPL. It is said that he will work as a mentor along with the brand ambassador.
