Rangpur Riders are unbeaten and top the points table with seven wins in seven matches. Nurul Hasan Sohan's team is on the verge of securing the play-offs with 14 points.
Chittagong Kings are in second place with 6 points in 4 matches. Their winning streak in the Sylhet phase is unbroken. They are also in a strong position in terms of net run rate.
Fortune Barisal are in third place with 6 points in 5 matches. However, they are below Chittagong due to their lagging net run rate. Khulna Tigers are in fourth place with only 4 points in 5 matches, but their failure to win in the Sylhet phase is a big blow.
Both Durbar Rajshahi and Sylhet Strikers have 4 points in 6 matches. Despite Rajshahi's batting line-up and Sylhet playing at home, their performance is below expectations.
Dhaka Capitals have finally won their seventh match after losing six consecutive matches. With the brilliant batting of Liton Das and Junior Tamim, they won by 149 runs against Rajshahi, setting a record for the highest margin of victory in the history of BPL.
Points table:
Rangpur Riders - 14 points from 7 matches
Chittagong Kings - 6 points from 4 matches
Fortune Barisal - 6 points from 5 matches
Khulna Tigers - 4 points from 5 matches
Sylhet Strikers - 4 points from 6 matches
Durbar Rajshahi - 4 points from 6 matches
Dhaka Capitals - 2 points from 7 matches
Rangpur and Chittagong Kings were unstoppable in the Sylhet phase, while the rest stumbled in various matches. It remains to be seen how the teams demonstrate their capabilities in the Chittagong phase.
