The Brazil national football team has arrived in the US with the aim of winning its sixth World Cup. The five-time world champions have set foot in New Jersey under new head coach Carlo Ancelotti. The team, which is made up of experienced and young footballers, has created great expectations among the fans.
Arriving in the US, Ancelotti said that several teams have the ability to win the title in the World Cup. However, Brazil is participating in the tournament with a positive mindset and is ready to give their best. He believes that proper planning and team unity will be the key to success.
Meanwhile, Marquinhos, Gabriel Magalhaes and Gabriel Martinelli have joined the national team camp after the UEFA Champions League final. As a result, Ancelotti now has a full 26-member squad. Before the start of the World Cup, the team will practice at the Columbia Park Training Center and play a warm-up match against Egypt.
Brazil will begin their World Cup campaign in Group C on June 13. Their opponents in the group stage are Morocco, Haiti and Scotland. This will be Ancelotti's first major international tournament in charge of Brazil after a long run of success in European club football. His goal is to bring the Selecao back to the top of world football and win the much-awaited 'hexa', or sixth World Cup title.
