Some areas are knee-deep in water. Working people are suffering. Thousands of crores of rupees have already been spent on flood relief projects. However, the benefits do not match.

An official of the Chittagong Meteorological Office told Dhaka Post that it is raining under the influence of active monsoon. This trend of rainfall will continue. Along with flooding due to heavy rainfall, there is also a risk of landslides.
